Auto Mechanic (Level3 Qualified)

V-Recruit are pleased to be working on behalf of a successful, family-run business to recruit a Level 3 qualified, Auto-Mechanic for a permanent vacancy, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Duties to include

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including tyre rotations, oil changes, hand break inspections
  • Advising customers on most appropriate actions regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

Job specifics

16-16.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

This is a full time, permanent role

Working hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday with a foreseeable requirement for alternate Saturday work in the future

There is good potential for progression in this role

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Automotive Mechanics is required
  • Full Driving Licence required for this role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
  • Proven experience in working in a vehicle repair workshop, with references
  • A good understanding of safety requirements within a workshop environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Although all diagnostic equipment is provided, you will need all your own hand tools/spanners etc.
