Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join an established fleet team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicles, contributing to the overall productivity of the organisation.
Maintenance on a variety of company vehicles and equipment part of the companies own fleet.
Applicants must be level 3 qualified.
Driving Licence essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and vehicles.
- MOT Preparation, annual servicing, breakdowns , fault finding and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
