Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Pay Rate: £155 - £220 per day
GSL Education is seeking a creative and dynamic Design & Technology Teacher to join secondary schools in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and help them explore the world of design, engineering, and technology, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in the classroom.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver stimulating Design & Technology lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking through practical and theoretical learning.
- Provide opportunities for students to engage with a wide range of materials, tools, and techniques.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Design & Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong knowledge of Design & Technology curriculum and resources.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
