We specialize in supporting students to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications up to Level 2, empowering them to progress in their careers or further education.

The Role:

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in Functional Skills (English, Math, ICT) to learners of various levels, up to Level 3.
  • Providing tailored support to ensure all learners achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential.
  • Work on site and at Learners homes
  • Monitoring and assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting learners with different abilities and learning needs, using a variety of teaching methods and resources.
  • Ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and engages learners.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in delivering Functional Skills (English, Math, ICT)
  • Experience in teaching learners of different levels, up to Level 3
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
