Join a leading UK retailer as a Driver, based in Rowley Regis. This role involves covering the south of Birmingham, delivering goods with a high standard of customer service, and performing ad hoc warehouse duties during downtime.
Day-to-day of the role:- Packing the van each morning with the necessary goods for delivery.
- Delivering products across the south of Birmingham, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Performing ad hoc warehouse duties during downtime, such as organising stock and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the warehouse area.
- Ensuring the vehicle is maintained in good condition, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Experience in a similar driving role preferred.
- Strong organisational skills to efficiently pack and manage delivery schedules.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving stock.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
