Interventions Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B65 | £90 - £105 per day | January Start

LTF Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming partner primary school located in the heart of Rowley Regis. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners' lives as they begin their educational journey, providing targeted interventions to support their progress towards age-expected level goals. The school is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible, with the potential for the right candidate to transition from a long-term role to a permanent position.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Help create and adapt teaching resources and materials to cater to the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining an organized classroom environment.
  • Support students' overall well-being by providing targeted interventions that aid their learning and development.
  • Work 1:1 with children with SEN, as well as lead small group sessions both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Introduce engaging activities and games to encourage socialisation and promote inclusivity.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
  • Have at least one year's experience supporting primary school pupils.
  • Have experience leading group and 1:1 interventions.
