As a Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of classes, providing essential support to Class Teachers. The Responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant Role include:
- Provide support to the Class Teacher in Primary School settings across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Work closely with pupils, offering one-on-one support and helping to manage classroom behaviour.
- Prepare resources as directed by the Class Teacher.
- Support children's social and emotional development, reporting any concerns to the Class Teacher.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in the Primary School.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School is essential.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to various classroom environments.
