£46,200  + £3,500 bonus + overtime on top ! overall earnings £60,000 + 


I am recruiting for a globally recognised manufacturing business who supply mainly into the buildings and construction industry. Due to a recent re-structure and the hire of a brand new engineering manager they are now looking to add an additional mechanically biased maintenance engineer to the team. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who have good electrical skills. Some of the machines you will be working on include mixers, banding machines, wrapping machines, conveyors, panels and much more. Saturday overtime on tap, some of the current team are taking home £55,000 with overtime and bonus. There is the expectation in this role to do one in three weekends overtime (Saturday or Sunday)

Experience required for the mechanical maintenance engineer:
 

  • 5 years + experience working as an mechanically biased maintenance engineer 
  • Exp working in manufacturing
  • experience with MIG/STIK welding 
  • experience with cylinders/pneumatics advantageous
  • Happy to work in a heavier environment, can be dusty so may not be suitable for engineers with asthma skin allergies
