Empowering learning are recruiting for an EYFS teacher to work in a primary school in the Oldbury area. The school is a 2-form entry primary school and are looking to take someone on in a temp to perm role and effectively run a strong and close EYFS team. This role would be part time, looking for staff Thursday and Friday.

The school are looking for experience EYFS teachers to apply for this role but encourage strong ECT's to apply as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire pupils in Early years aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Utilize assessment data to track pupil progress, provide targeted support, and ensure all learners make excellent academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in EYFS.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
