As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and reliability, handling a diverse range of tasks from goods management to customer deliveries.

Location: Birmingham Salary: £24,377Monday to Friday (Full time, permanent) 

Day-to-day of the role:

Goods In:•    Safely load and unload goods from vehicles.•    Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods into stock locations efficiently.•    Ensure received items match purchase order specifications and file accordingly.•    Manage daily returns administration as required.

Picking & Packing:•    Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch according to customer orders.•    Maintain high standards for packaging and product condition before delivery.•    Handle delivery notes and update relevant systems.•    Report consumables and packaging material levels to the Supervisor. 

Stock Management:•    Update company systems with product details and stock information for accurate reporting.•    Support daily perpetual inventory counts and annual stock takes.

Delivery Driver & Furniture Installer Cover:•    Cover for Drivers and Furniture Installers during absences.•    Deliver products professionally and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Team-oriented with a flexible approach to daily tasks.•    High enthusiasm, approachability, and a keenness to learn.•    Excellent customer service skills.•    Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred but not essential).•    Full, clean UK driving license.
