We are currently recruiting for a dedicated learning disabilities service in Southampton who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives within the community. They are looking to recruit passionate and experienced Support Workers on a permanent basis.


Your new role
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and support to the service users, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. There are currently day and night support roles available.

  • Provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support service users in accessing community resources and participating in social and recreational activities.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Monitor and record the progress and well-being of service users.
  • Promote independence and encourage service users to develop new skills.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all service users.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred but not required.
