Hours:

  • 4 days on and 4 days off from 9am-9pm with some paid breaks.
  • Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
  • Weekends - 9-6pm

Essentials: Any form of pharmacy qualification or dispenser/dispensing NVQ 2

Experience: At least 6 months recent UK pharmaceutical dispensing experience

Duties:

Dispensing Medications:

Accurately counting, labelling, and preparing medications for patients based on prescriptions.

Ensuring medications are dispensed according to standard operating procedures and regulations.

Checking prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining accurate records of medication inventory using computerized systems.

Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring proper rotation of stock.

Assisting with ordering and receiving new stock.

Warehouse Operations:

Picking, packing, and preparing pharmaceutical products for shipment.

Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and maintained according to regulations.

Assisting with the loading and unloading of shipments.

Customer Service:

Answering customer inquiries about medications and procedures.

Providing information and education to patients on their medications.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.

Ensuring proper handling and storage of medications.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of pharmacy procedures and regulations .

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team .

Good communication and customer service skills.

Computer literacy.

Experience in a pharmacy or warehouse setting is desirable.
