Junior Accountant Required

Aim of Role:
As the Junior Accountant you will support the Financial Controller and Finance department by handling various financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Daily entry of financial data into accounting systems.
- Preparing and sending out invoices to clients and recording payments received.
- Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled, and discrepancies are resolved.
- Helping with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Performing tasks as directed by the Financial Controller, such as data analysis and report preparation.
Qualifications:
Progress towards professional qualifications such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other professional qualification is advantageous.
Experience:
Some experience in an accounting role, even if through internships or part-time work, would be a distinct advantage.
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
