Overview

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our machines and software systems are thoroughly tested and meet the necessary regulatory and performance standards before they are approved for use in the factory.







Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commissioning plans for machines and software systems.
  • Perform factory approval testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct machine testing to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality and performance concerns.
  • Document and report on commissioning activities and results.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phase.






Qualifications / Experience

  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification: ONC / HND / BTEC / C&G
  • Experience of working in a precision assembly / technical environment within a high-tech engineering / manufacturing company
  • Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical systems for build and test
  • Proficiency in machine testing, factory approval testing, and software testing.
  • Ideally some Lean / 6 Sigma exposure or understanding
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements.






Day-to-Day

  • Testing machines and software systems to ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to address any issues or concerns.
  • Documenting and reporting on commissioning activities.
  • Providing technical support during the installation and commissioning phase.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
