Production Assembly Operator

25,837.00 plus fantastic benefits

Royston based manufacturing company are looking for a permanent production assembly operator to join their growing team. (new position due to company growth)

The position comes with full training, however ideally the production assembly operator will have some of the following attributes:

  • An understandingor practical experience of using Lean techniques
  • Qualifications in or experience of welding (metals like aluminium, magnesium)
  • Able to read orunderstand technical drawings and documentation
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Experience of mechanical or electromechanical assembly in a factory environment
  • Experience of working to Health and Safety improvements
  • Able to use multi-meters
  • Proven experience of achieving production delivery deadlines, including standard build times
  • Experience of working to quality and environmental standards (e.g. 9001, 14001, 18001)
  • Basic soldering skills

  • Maintaining a positive approach, adaptable & flexible to changing demands

Hours of work for the Production Assembly Operator

Monday to Friday 37.5 days (running a flexi hours scheme)
