Publishing/Media Sales Executive

Location: Nr Royston

Salary: £25-29k OTE up to £38k

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 37.5 hours a week flexi working - 2/3 days home based (Monday and Friday), 2/3 days in the office (Tuesday - Thursday)

Publishing/Media Sales Executive:

As a Publishing/Media Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts, securing renewals, and driving new business opportunities. Your dynamic and driven personality will contribute to the success of our organisation during this pivotal phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Successfully manage accounts, maintaining regular contact throughout the year, and keeping accurate records on our CRM system.
  • Business Development: Secure renewals across the portfolio while actively sourcing and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Outbound Sales Calls: Maintain a high standard of outbound telephone call rates to engage with clients effectively.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve personal and product targets to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
  • Industry Representation: Maintain the high profile of the company by participating in client visits and attending various industry events.
  • Sales Campaign Coordination: Assist the Management team in coordinating sales campaigns, identifying potential challenges, and providing effective solutions.
  • Innovative Thinking: Use initiative to identify potential new business streams and collaborate with the management team to incorporate them into sales campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant direct outbound sales experience.
  • Experience of working in media and/or publishing sector.
  • Proven track record in account management and business development.
  • Dynamic and driven personality with a passion for achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
