This is a newly created role within the business. It's your time to make it your own.  You'll be surrounded by knowledge and experience in this role. Your direct manager has been in the business for 20 years and has moved out of the Print Studio and into running the Technical department. Now settled in and set up, you'll be walking into a newly created role that will really propel this already great business forward.

As a print technician, you're ultimately responsible for the specifications of the print job. You'll be internally focused. Pulling the strings between Customer Services, The Studio and Production. With your many years of knowledge within the print industry, ideally labels, but your knowledge of the print process will be second to none. You'll know how to quiz, questions and spec up an order or a brief that had been taken from the Customer Services team and get it ready and in shape for internal action. You can then use your knowledge and experience to bulk up and spec the job correctly so that the transition internally, is as smooth, accurate and quality as possible.

You'll be perfectly placed for this role coming in with knowledge of the print process and a special appreciation for high-end quality labels. This role is technical, the knowledge and the experience can't really be taught, you'll have to be walking into this hitting the ground running. You will be trained and inducted into the business, how they do things etc but knowledge of the label print process, is very much needed on this one.

Although not customer-facing, you will need to be exceptional at communication. You're integral to getting this print brief in and out of the building, on time, on budget and to the very highest quality. Studio, Customer Services, Production and Senior Management will all be your internal stakeholders. So talking to people, at all different levels is high up on the priority list too.

If you like to be treated with respect, nurtured and work in a very caring, empathetic and team-oriented culture then this one is for you. Steep in history, you're joining a business that knows what they are doing. 40 years of designing, printing and delivering some of the finest labels into a variety of markets. Health & Beauty, Beverage, Homeware, Personal Care etc, you name it, they've done it. The years of knowledge and experience in this place is staggering. Longevity in here is great, once you're in, you're in. There are 60+ staff on site in the state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Whilst experience in labels is expected, you must also fit in personally. Being a decent human, delivering on what you say you're going to do is a good place to start. It won't take you long to feel at home here.

You'll be working 'office' hours. Production is working double day shifts so there may be occasions where you might have to flex a little but the majority of the time you'll be 9 - 5. Probably a welcomed change if you're coming into this after being on the tools for a while.
