Exhibition Carpenter

We are looking for an Experienced Exhibition Carpenter, with experience in the Exhibition and Events Industry in Royston, Hertfordshire.

This role will involve working on projects from start to finish. From the initial workshop build through to the site installation. It is expected that you will be comfortable using workshop machinery, working individually and as part of the workshop team and confident in your skillset. The projects are highly diverse in content, style and design, making this a varied and exciting role. This will require not only experience but a passion for your craft and we are looking for a Carpenter that is at the forefront of their skill set.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 30 min unpaid break and 2 x 15 min paid breaks

This role is varied multiskilled, offering diversity to your job.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE:

- Proven experience within the Exhibition and Events industry.

- Be comfortable using Table Saws, Hand Tools and an understanding of CNC Processes and machinery.

- Laminate and finish built components to the required standards.

- A good understanding of graphic processes, electrical installations and Audio-visual equipment.

- High standards of working as well as setting high standards for the completed projects.

- Great personal skills, to work within a team of people with different skills, as well as the ability to liaise with clients.

- Accurate and precise

- Comfortable being away from home for up to a week on occasions.

- Full UK Driving Licence

- A passport is required as travel is necessary
