Responsibilities:

  • Prepare business accounts and tax computations.
  • Complete general ledger operations and journal entries.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts; assist with tax returns and year-end closings.
  • Support senior accountants in financial and management accounts.
  • Prepare VAT returns and liaise with clients.
  • Implement client bookkeeping systems; travel to client sites for audits.
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT qualified.
  • 3 years of practice experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with IRIS, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH.
  • Independent and teamwork skills; attention to detail; adaptable.
