Role OverviewAs a Graduate Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the sales team.. You will assist in evaluating customer requirements, interpreting architectural drawings, and creating tailored solutions from their product range. Working closely with Tier 1 construction companies and architects, you will help secure early project involvement and grow their portfolio of successful projects across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email or phone, providing expert guidance on product selection. - Review construction drawings (CAD) and architectural models to identify appropriate solutions from our product portfolio.- Produce accurate and compelling quotations, presenting these to clients when necessary. - Log quotes, interactions, and follow-up tasks in HubSpot, ensuring consistent tracking of opportunities. - Liaise with architects and specifiers to ensure products meet their needs. - Proactively track and manage quotes to build lasting client relationships and secure projects.Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills: - Strong proficiency in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.- A keen interest in technical challenges and logical approaches to solutions. - Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings (e.g., CAD). - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Construction discipline. - Exposure to construction industry concepts (knowledge of building envelopes or roofing systems is a plus). - Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot is an advantage. - Membership or interest in professional bodies (e.g., AIOR, FIOR) is desirable but not required.
