Senior AV Technician
Royston £36,000 - £40,000 + Overtime
24 days annual leave + bank holidays + overtime + bonus + expenses + pension
The Role:
To play a lead role throughout the preparation, maintenance and operation of audio, video and lighting equipment throughout corporate events and private parties.
Key duties include:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Testing and preparing equipment in the warehouse ensuring all AV hardware is show ready and functional.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians in the warehouse and on site.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Act as the point of contact for clients when on site.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Rigging sound, lighting and video equipment ahead of each event.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Operation of AV consoles during events such as sound desks, lighting consoles and vision mixers.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Building and configuration of LED video walls.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Fault finding and troubleshooting any issues quickly and effectively.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Occasional delivery of equipment to site.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Remaining presentable at all times and acting as a point of contact for clients throughout events.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Shutdown and pack away equipment after each event.
Required skills and attributes:
-         3+ years’ experience within an AV technician role with a good all round knowledge of multiple disciplines ie, audio, video, lighting.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A willingness to work extended hours and weekends where required.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience working within corporate events would be highly beneficial.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Full UK Driving License
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Right to work in the UK
Package details:
-         A salary ranging between £36K- £40K depending on experience
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Increased rate of pay when working on weekends
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Annual bonus
