Senior PR executive required by a marketing agency in Royston, Hertfordshire.
As a Senior PR executive, you will be working alongside the Editorial Manager to deliver quality content in a variety of formats, with a focus on press releases, magazine features and online blogs.
Our client has an excellent reputation for delivering well-researched content that busy editors can simply copy and paste. An old-school journalism background would be a definite advantage.
You must be confident and speak with authority on all activity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across a number of industries, delivering quality content in different formats
- Be able to write in different tones for different clients and different outputs
- Working closely with the Editorial Manager to develop content strategies
- Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Use online applications to manage campaigns and deliver results to clients
- Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts alongside the wider team
- Researching, preparing and conducting interviews
- Liaise with the wider team to ensure consistency in promoting clients
- Understand client needs, work to anticipate them and identify new business opportunities
- Prepare analysis and research where needed to support outputs
- Administrative duties including reporting and file management
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of the clients’ services and industry
YOUR SKILLS
- At least two years’ experience as a journalist or in a PR role
- Outstanding written English across different formats
- Friendly and personable interview style
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the media landscape an advantage
- Capable of building strong relationships internally and externally
