Production Planner

OA are currently working with a successful organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner to support in monitoring the stock levels, coordinating production schedules as well as coordinating with suppliers.

Production Planner – Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate in-depth production schedules that aligns with the manufacturing team
  • Monitor stock levels as well as lead times
  • Review bi-weekly sales data to adjust plans and prevent stock outs
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all materials and services
  • Set up and maintain strong material, supplier and planning data on system
  • Handle the daily release of necessary production documentation

Production Planner – Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of planning and buying in a manufacturing setting is essential
  • Strong knowledge of planning and procurement principles
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners
  • Must be organised and balance multiple priorities
