Hexwired Recruitment are collaborating with a rapidly growing Telecommunications Industry who are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join their diverse and inclusive team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the fields of IoT, wireless communications, and digital electronics.
Responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for a variety of applications including IoT devices, wireless communication systems, and digital electronics.
- Work on low-level programming and system integration for embedded systems.
- Contribute to algorithm design and optimization for embedded platforms.
- Troubleshoot and debug embedded software to ensure product functionality and performance.
Qualifications needed as an Embedded Software Engineer
- Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of embedded Linux, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and RF.
- Familiarity with digital electronics, serial communications, and VHDL.
- Prior experience with Bootloader development and backend C++ is a plus.
