We are partnered with a UK-based full-service firm seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to provide support to their Head of Department. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone eager to advance their career in property law within a close-knit firm that places great value on both its staff and clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Head of Residential Property with day-to-day duties
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and gather necessary documentation.
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Conducting searches (e.g., title, local authority, environmental) and identifying potential issues.
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating with solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Ensuring all transactions meet legal and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering checks.
  • Registering ownership with the Land Registry and managing associated paperwork.
  • Assisting solicitors and conveyancers with administrative and substantive legal tasks.
  • Addressing issues and delays to ensure smooth progression of the transaction.
