Senior Payroll Officer - 拢40,000 - 拢42,000 - Royston

Frazer Jones are delighted to be working with a leading accounting firm based close to Royston. This is a permanent role and is offering and opportunity to grow into a Manager position in the next few years.

Our client offers hybrid working with 3 days per week required into the office.

The Role:

路Processing Clients Payroll

路Processing BACS payments

路Building and maintaining good relationships with clients liaising on payroll, employment and other matters, resolving client queries promptly

路A thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll matters and including current legislation

路Conducting compliance checks on a regular basis

路Processing starters, leavers, holiday pay, pension deductions using SMP/SPP/ SAP and SSP etc

路Issuing P45's, P60's etc

路Liaising with HMRC both in writing and on the telephone

路Calculation of tax and NIC contributions

路Dealing with auto enrolment, maintaining pension scheme records, schedules and payments

路Carry out RTI submissions and CIS returns

路Setting up and closing PAYE schemes

路Maintaining accurate and concise record systems

路Recording of time accurately on timesheets

路Dealing with client queries as they arise

路Collaborating with colleagues to plan work schedule.

Skills needed:

路Accountancy practice experience

路Strong people skills
