We are currently working with a fantastic company based near to Melbourn who are looking for a Production and Materials Planner.
The company operate on a 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday) so you would have long weekends every week!
Typical duties included:
- Align production schedules with manufacturing.
- Monitor inventory and prevent shortages.
- Optimise resource allocation for efficient production.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
The successful candidate
- Experienced in manufacturing planning and purchasing.
- Strong understanding of planning and procurement principles.
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems.
- Skilled in data analysis and decision-making.
It would be beneficial but isnt essential if the successful candidate had a CIPS qualification or equivalent.
