What you’ll be doing

  • Processing invoices and maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledger
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Managing monthly payroll processes
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with regulations
  • Providing financial administration and support to the wider team
  • Assisting in the monitoring and control of expenditure
  • Helping to prepare the local authority’s annual budget estimates
  • Completing their annual accounts and coordinating internal and external audits
