Role OverviewWe are seeking skilled Fabrication Operatives to join our clients team, focusing on delivering precision-engineered products for the construction sector. This is a hands-on fabrication role that offers the opportunity to develop into a Team Leader for candidates with the right skills and attitude.
Key tasks include MIG and TIG welding, operating press brakes, and working with measurements to ensure high-quality standards. If you have a professional approach and strong people skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication Tasks: MIG or TIG welding, operating press brakes, and general aluminium fabrication.
- Assembly Work: Build and insulate aluminium housings, ensuring products are watertight and airtight.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality standards throughout production.
- Team Leadership Potential: Opportunity to step into a leadership role, guiding and motivating team members effectively.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Fabrication Skills: Previous experience with MIG or TIG welding and it is also desirable to have experience within press brake operation.
- Strong Mathematical Skills: Comfortable working with precise measurements.
- Professional Demeanour: Organised, reliable, and a strong communicator with good people skills.
- Leadership Ability: Firm but fair, able to lead and inspire a team with integrity.
