Position: Fabrication OperativeLocation: Wireless Station Park, Chestnut Lane, BassingbournSalary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annumEmployment Type: PermanentHours: 40-hour work week, Monday to Thursday (7 am - 5 pm), Friday (7 am - 10 am, with optional overtime)Holidays: 31 days annual leaveSick Days: 5 paid sick days per year

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Fabrication Operatives to join our clients team, focusing on delivering precision-engineered products for the construction sector. This is a hands-on fabrication role that offers the opportunity to develop into a Team Leader for candidates with the right skills and attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication Tasks: MIG or TIG welding, operating press brakes, and general aluminium fabrication.
  • Assembly Work: Build and insulate aluminium housings, ensuring products are watertight and airtight.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality standards throughout production.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Fabrication Skills: Previous experience with MIG or TIG welding and it is also desirable to have experience within press brake operation.
