LB276 - UPS Service Manager
Location: Royston/M4 corridor
Salary: £35,000
Overview:
As a UPS Service Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our strong reputation with our customers.
Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run the operations from receiving an order to dispatching the goods to the customers
- Check delivery of inbound goods.
- Managing the Delivery notes and emailing them to customers
- Coordinating shipments and tracking invoice payments
- Coordinating delivery schedules with our couriers and drivers
- Monitor the level of inventory and report issues to management.
- Oversee the management of goods for dispatch, including the required documentation and shipping labels.
- Liaising with customers on delivery/visit schedule
- Ensure Company Quality Engineering standards are kept
- Conduct Site surveys to assess the work required to enable Quotations, Risk and Method creation and project planning.
- Reviewing/storing technical reports and data.
- Highlighting further site actions if required
- Completing paperwork relating to site visits
- Completing personal expenditure claims including, cash expenses, mileage logs and other expenses.
- Showing initiative in the generation of income for the company.
- Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Verbal and written communications Skills
- Ability to act promptly and with intention to make things happen efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with clients and end users
- Self-directed/motivated
- A Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Commitment to providing great customer service with strong organisational skills
- A proven track record of strong customer service working within a face-to-face customer service environment
- Adaptable to changing situations
- Flexibility as required

- Due to the nature of the role, we will require you to have a full UK driving licence
- 2 Years experience within the UPS and standby Battery systems environment
