We are currently recruiting for a number of Fabrication Operatives for our international client in Royston.  These are permanent positions working 37.5 hours per week, 8.00am to 4.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.00am to 3.00pm on a Friday.

Duties;

  • Fabrication of aerospace sheet metal parts using jigs, fixtures and manual methods of production
  • Achieve company work & quality standards
  • Ensuring that the required standard of work and good housekeeping is always maintained.
  • The manufacture of ducts, vanes, details and other sheet metal components, ensuring they conform to both customer requirements and company procedures
  • Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards
  • Perform all reasonable requests made by management

 

To be successful in this role you'll ideally have experience of fabrication of aerospace sheet metal parts using jigs, fixtures and manuals and must be able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and drawings  You will also ideally have experience of working with Titanium & Inconel or Fine Limit Sheet Metal.  You will need to be able to show a steady work history and will be working within a small team so hard work and reliability is key.
