Senior Planning Manager - Residential Development

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking property development business that is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to join their homes division. The Role

As Senior Planning Manager, you will play a key role in managing the planning process from site identification through to securing planning consent. Reporting to the Head of Land and Planning, you will work closely with internal teams, local authorities, and external stakeholders to drive forward high-quality residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement planning strategies for residential development projects.
  • Manage planning applications, appeals, and site promotions to enhance the project pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, local authorities, and external consultants to navigate complex planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with planning regulations while maintaining a commercially minded approach.
  • Contribute to the business's mission of delivering sustainable, high-quality housing.

About You

  • MRTPI qualified with strong commercial planning knowledge.
  • A proven track record in securing planning consents for residential developments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A passion for delivering sustainable, high-quality communities.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
