We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to take on a full-time SENCO role at a specialist provision in Bristol. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
About the Role:
- Oversee and manage the provision for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the school.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' individual needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Lead on safeguarding and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision, ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Provide training and guidance for staff on SEN best practices and effective interventions.

- Proven experience in a SENCO, SLT, or safeguarding role.
- In-depth understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students, staff, and families.
