Our client is a well respected and rapidly expanding Group of companies with broad interests across the Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales & Distribution Industry.

As a result of continued growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join the business based in Rugby (easily accessible from across Leicestershire / Northamptonshire / Warwickshire)

Working closely with the Group FD and Group FC this role will be the 3rd most senior person within Finance and will be offer great mentorship and support from above and given a great platform to develop and grow.

You must be able to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, organised, have excellent time management and the ability to work as a member of the team and on your own using your own initiative.

The main duties of the Management Accountant will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for a number of group companies to include insightful commentary and dashboard data.
  • Complete financial analysis to drive performance and continue to evolve KPI’s and metrics
  • Business partner with business unit MD’s to understand business challenges and limitations.
  • Liaising with site leads to understand the financial data and implement process improvements.
  • Assisting the Group Financial Controller and Group Finance Director and improvement projects
  • Management of company bank accounts and provide cash forecasts.
  • Support Accounts Assistant and Accounts Apprentice with overseeing Purchase & Sales Ledgers & Payroll to include Invoice discounting management
  • Assist with Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliation as required.
  • New system implementation support and Process improvement support
  • Ad hoc Finance Duties and Projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience gained within a similar Management Accounting position ideally within a SME or Divisional Business.

Whilst my client is open to QBE candidates like, it is preferred that candidates are working towards AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA if not already qualified (Study support and on the job professional development and mentorship offered)

A good level of IT literacy is key to include MS Excel is key, other systems knowledge is useful as this client is about to embark on a ERP migration to which these candidates can be involved within.

In return a competitive basic salary based on experience and qualification up to £45,000 + Benefits and Bonus can be offered.
