Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Operations Accountant to join their team. Based in Rugby, this role offers a competitive salary. As an Operations Accountant, you will play a crucial role in reviewing profit & loss statements, undertaking nominal ledger tasks, providing detailed business performance analysis, and ensuring robust commercial and financial solutions are implemented. What you'll do:

As an Operations Accountant, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of our client's operations. You will be responsible for reviewing and analysing profit & loss statements, undertaking various ledger tasks, and providing insightful business performance analysis. Your ability to capture all open book costs accurately will directly impact the profitability of the company. Additionally, you will present financial and KPI performance both internally and externally on a regular basis. Your collaboration with internal support functions will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

* Review of both ESL & Customer weekly/monthly profit & loss statements with the provision of a business commentary including variance analysis.* Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.* Provide detailed analysis to the operations of the key business performance drivers and internal reporting trend analysis.* Ensure all open book costs are captured in line with the contract obligations.* Present both Internally (ESL) and externally (customer) the Weekly and Monthly Financial & KPI Performance.* Monitor the Aged Debt & Un-invoiced revenue to ensure that they are in line with the Business accepted levels.* Collaborate with internal support functions as required to ensure the financial reports are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
