Job Title: DevOps / DevSecOps EngineerLocation: RugbySalary: £50,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)
We are hiring for a DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer for an established software company based in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both Azure and AWS who is looking to grow their security expertise while working on a complex, cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, primarily hosted on AWS, utilising AWS CloudFormation for configuration management.
- Administer and configure Azure Active Directory and internal laptop hardware infrastructure.
- Ensure all company laptops are managed using Microsoft Intune and secured with Defender.
- Support DevSecOps processes by integrating security controls within the Azure and AWS environments.
- Implement and maintain security scanning and vulnerability management tools, including Azure code scanning and AWS GuardDuty.
- Collaborate with the development team to support the deployment and security of the software platform hosted on AWS.
Critical Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with both Azure and AWS platforms, particularly in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline deployment and management.
- Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and other AWS services related to DevSecOps.
- Understanding of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender for managing and securing internal hardware.
- Some experience or interest in growing knowledge of cloud security practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, or Azure DevOps Engineer) are desirable but not essential.
