0730 - 1600 for 2 weeks before moving to rotating (0600 - 1400, 1400 - 2230 Mon - Fri)
£11.75 per hour + £1.61 per hour shift allowance when on rotating
Full Time - Immediate Start
Several experienced machine operators wanted to work at a busy site in Rugby, which produces ceramic products for the automotive and defence sectors.
This is a busy, active, standing role where you load machinery, operate, quality check, unload, and work with production targets.
Some quality checking will be involved, which will include using micrometres and verniers.
The role starts on a day shift for 2 weeks before you move to a rotating shift.
Some of the products are quick to solidify, and manufacturing with ceramic is not like metal; it behaves differently.
What skills are needed?
- Ability to work with engineering drawings and precision measurements.
- Good eye for detail.
- Fully numerate and literate.
- Experience operating some form of high-speed production machines.
- Someone who can work the rotating shift without issues.
What does this role offer?
- £13.35 per hour (when on shifts).
- 37 hours paid per week.
