Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Shift Labourer / CNC Operator to join our team. This role is integral to the efficient running of our engineering operations, providing support for both production and shop floor maintenance. You will be working on the night shift, assisting with machine operation, shop floor cleanliness, and various tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate simple CNC machines, following pre-set programs with the support and guidance of trained operatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop floor, including tidying machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Carry out deburring and basic finishing tasks on components as required.
  • Assist in deliveries or collections to/from customers, as needed.
  • Support the team in general laboring duties, ensuring that production runs smoothly.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable but not essential.
  • knowledge of CNC machinery is preferred, though full training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively.
