Rework Team leader
Our well established client who are a global organisation specialising in E-commerce are looking to add a Hands on Teamleader to join the business.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Rework Team Leader to oversee a small team ofrework operatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving performance, managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring that targets are met while adhering to health and safety guidelines. As a leader, you will facilitate operational efficiency and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team ofrework operatives, ensuring effective day-to-day operations
- Drive team performance by setting clear objectives, monitoring KPIs, and providing guidance and feedback
- Implement and maintain health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Oversee the goods in and out processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of inventory.
- Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance metrics, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain a positive and motivating team environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of rework processes and inventory management.
- People-focused leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Valid Counterbalance or VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift license experience is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating
