ERP Project Manager - MS Dynamics AX

12 Month Contract

Rugby - Minimum 4 x days working in the office. Must be local to site.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 plus Bonus - No Company Car

Our highly successful and innovative client is looking to recruit a highly qualified/experienced ERP Project Manager to help maintain their position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing PM experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The Project Manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that goals are achieved.

Please note this role is focused on the project management of overseeing of the design and build of the ERP system implementation across several sites. Previous experience of this is essential. They use M/S Dynamics AX.

Objectives of this role

  • Meeting with key/major clients to identify project requirements, delivery, timelines and costs
  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation - this may be to do with build and construction projects
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables - manage budgets/costings
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Use WMS - proficient user

Required skills and Qualifications

  • Four or more years of project management experience - ERP systems ideally MS Dynamics AX
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Experience in developing platforms for internal processes
  • Project Management experience within a manufacturing environment
