Electrical Test Technician
Carbon60 are working with an industry-leading, state-of-the-art electronics manufacturer in the Coventry area who are currently looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join their test department.

This a great opportunity to play a vital part in ensuring our client's products are functioning correctly - carrying out a variety of tests and inspections, carrying out rework duties on any identified faults if and when required.
Salary: Up to £33,000 p/a
Working Hours: Mon - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm. 37.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect and test a variety of control panels, amongst other electrical/electronic components on occasion using a variety of test equipment and instrumentation such as: Voltmeters, Ammeter, Ohmeter
- Work from drawings and schematics, ensuring that equipment and products are in-line with specifications and identify any abnormalities/faults
- Identify loose/faulty connections and rectify using hand tools and soldering techniques if and when required
- Test wiring circuits to locate and isolate faults and root cause of malfunctions
- Maintain up to date records of faults and malfunctions
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Experienced in carrying out electrical testing and required instrumentation such as Voltmeters, Ammeter, Ohmeters
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and wiring schematics
- Understanding of Electromechanical processes
- Knowledge of 3-phase Electrics
