Reliability Technician

We are looking to recruit a Reliability Technician who will work closely with the Reliability Supervisor to provide a detailed programme of both preventive and predictive techniques with the goal of increasing the reliability of site equipment. Use the information ascertained through root cause analysis and failure modes effect analysis to identify areas which can be improved. Problem solve to find solutions, which can then be implemented within departmental budgets.

Responsibilities of the Reliability Technician:

  • Help with the development and implementation of the maintenance strategy on site.
  • Work to implement Health & Safety into all maintenance processes.
  • Develop both short and long term preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
  • Assist in any reactive incidents which can optimise the on site performance.
  • Complete repairs which have been raised using reliability techniques.
  • Complete reports and analysis for the management team.
  • Support with the annual site shutdown.
  • Work on some small projects within the available budgets.

What we are looking for in the Reliability Technician:

  • Experience with both predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Health & Safety experience
  • Excellent mechanical engineering knowledge and experience.
  • Good knowledge of condition monitoring techniques.
  • A good awareness of NDT practices within an engineering environment.
