Senior Digital Officer / Web Analytics Specialist who is a passionate and committed individual, with proven experience of working in a similar digital role and developing audience-centric user journeys is required for a well-established and highly regarded change-making organisation based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

SALARY: £32,076 34,715 per annum pro rata

LOCATION: Rugby, Warwickshire / Hybrid (must be able to travel to the main office in Rugby for key dates and for specific meetings)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Digital Officer / Web Analytics Specialist who is a passionate and committed individual, with proven experience of working in a similar digital role and developing audience-centric user journeys.

Working as a Senior Digital Officer / Web Analytics Specialist you will provide strategic technical expertise to the organisations Climate Resilience team to ensure it has the necessary regular and consistent expert advice and insights to deliver a valued and high-performing website.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Senior Digital Officer / Web Analytics Specialist will include:

• Build and maintain Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations

• Align website journeys with other online and offline activities

• Provide first line support for technical issues for the website

• Support delivery of engaging content work alongside colleagues

• Stay up to date with external trends and developments in website and digital knowledge sharing tools and techniques

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Strong expertise with Google Analytics 4 (very strong) and drawing actionable insights from data

• Working experience of WordPress or other content management system

• Understanding of Dspace as a resource repository

• Good writing skills

• Proven ability to work well with people across different languages, cultures, and levels of digital understanding

• Proactive problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated experience of project management

• Basic image & video editing

• Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation principles
