Full Time - Permanent Job

New year, new job and the first one we have for 2025 is an experienced electrical maintenance engineer wanted for a busy engineering company in the Rugby area.

This first thing to point out is that this is the dream day shift of 0730 - 1600 Mon - Fri (early Friday finish) so none of this working rotating shifts or 4 on / 4 off etc - you have your weekends to yourself.

This role requires you to work within the factory, perform electrical maintenance work on various production machinery, deal with breakdowns where possible and perform PPMs.

Some of the machinery includes CNC, press machines or lasers and even a furnace.

It's working with a very small team; you have the support there is needed but you are not micromanaged at all.

A great role for someone who wants to work within a larger company, wants a ladder to climb, wants job security but also wants a better work-life balance.

The perfect candidate will have the following skills:

  • At least 3 years within a maintenance engineer role within the UK (standards and voltages are different in the UK)
  • Practical experience working on electrical control systems.
  • Ideally 18th edition.
  • Good positive attitude and someone who has a great work ethic.
  • Be a natural problem solver and someone who lives to know why something does or doesn't work.
