Salary and package is very competitive.    Responsibilities of the Power Electronics  Engineer:
  • Design and development of electrical components for high-power systems (PCB, analogue/digital circuitry, power supplies, DCDC converters, etc)
  • Researching, devising and recommending solutions to technical problems
  • Testing and development support along with ensuring all relevant electrical safety standards and electromagnetic compatibility regulations are met
  • Generation of necessary documentation, including Wiring Diagrams and build instructions.
 Requirements of the Power Electronics Engineer
  • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Recent and relevant experience in the development of power electronics and analogue and digital electronics
  • Excellent knowledge of high-power electronic systems and knowledge/experience of developing high voltage components such as switch-mode power supplies, DCDC converters, inverters, etc. will be highly beneficial
  • Electrical component design and use of CAD software for wiring diagram generation beneficial
  • Outstanding communications skills and confidence to present to internal and external stakeholders.
  Salary: circa £45k - £62kVacancy location: Warwickshire, easily commutable from Warwick, Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, etc)
