URGENT: Manufacturing Technician

Permanent Full-Time positions in Rugby  

Manufacturing Electrical Fitters, Mechanical Fitters and Electrical Test Engineer.

Litron Lasers is one of the world’s leading solid-state laser manufacturers. Our lasers find widespread use in a multitude of scientific and industrial applications worldwide.

Due to increase in production we are looking to recruit experienced and skilled Electrical and Mechanical Fitters, and a qualified experienced Electrical Test Engineer.

Proven experience in the following areas:

  • Reading electrical and/ or mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Build to sample.
  • Cabinet wiring and cable assembly.
  • Power supply unit construction.
  • Wiring looms and Harnesses.
  • Identify, test & fault finding in electrical installation and equipment.
  • Neat and accurate crimping and soldering of wires.
  • Mechanical assembly duties may include cutting, drilling, tapping, and soldering.
  • Cooler build.

These roles require a high standard of dexterity and accuracy.  The successful applicants will have a high level of competence with electrical drawings or mechanical drawings, plus the following experience.

  • Assembly of electrical and mechanical parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
  • Loom preparation – high standard of wiring, crimping, wire-stripping
  • Ensuring that all production assembly operations you perform comply with production standards and specifications.
  • Electrical Test Engineer - PCB testing boards and testing high voltage power supply systems.

  • Working Hours 37.50 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and 8.30am to       1.00pm on Friday
