Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance work is completed
  • Advising on a wide range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and corporation tax
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and supporting their development through coaching and mentoring
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and working with partners to deliver tailored advice
  • Dealing with HMRC correspondence and representing clients during enquiries and investigations
  • Supporting business development activities and contributing to the growth of the firm’s tax services

Candidate Requirements
  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients and ensuring timely and accurate submission of returns and computations

  • Providing expert advice to clients on corporation tax matters, planning opportunities, and liabilities

  • Leading client communications, including handling tax queries and building long-term relationships

  • Supporting partners and directors in delivering bespoke tax planning strategies

  • Managing WIP and billing, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and profitably

  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development

  • Representing the firm at client meetings and in discussions with HMRC
