Finance Manager - Rugby

Who will you be working for?
This is an exciting, complex and interesting business who have been established for over 60 years. They have a presence in multiple different countries and manufacture a wide range of products with a leading reputation in their industry.
What will the role entail?
- You'll be reporting into the GM and you'll be overseeing all finance activity for the business whilst acting as a trusted partner to the SLT.
- You'll have responsibility for the month end closing process (very quick turnaround due to US reporting) and to have it uploaded on their consolidation software.
- Monthly management reports including P&L and balance sheets
- Responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring sales and profit forecasts and working with the GM to identify risks, trends and opportunities
- Reporting company Tax
- Overseeing invoicing and providing statements to customers
- Managing a team of two (credit controller and accounts assistant) and ensuring their ongoing development
- Managing risk, liaising with auditors and ensuring the business is compliant with relevant legislation.

What Qualifications and Experience do you need?
- Degree qualified
- CIMA OR ACCA Qualified ideally
- Exceptional experience with month end financial reporting
- Commercially minded
- Solid understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards
- Experience with SOX and ICoFR internal control framework would be beneficial
- Audit experience would be viewed positively.
- Working with Oracle or similar ERP.
- Analytical experience dealing with large data sets, manipulation and complex reporting.
- Enjoys managing a team
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
