Finance Manager - Rugby

Who will you be working for?

This is an exciting, complex and interesting business who have been established for over 60 years. They have a presence in multiple different countries and manufacture a wide range of products with a leading reputation in their industry.

What will the role entail?

You'll be reporting into the GM and you'll be overseeing all finance activity for the business whilst acting as a trusted partner to the SLT.
You'll have responsibility for the month end closing process (very quick turnaround due to US reporting) and to have it uploaded on their consolidation software.
Monthly management reports including P&L and balance sheets
Responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring sales and profit forecasts and working with the GM to identify risks, trends and opportunities
Reporting company Tax
Overseeing invoicing and providing statements to customers
Managing a team of two (credit controller and accounts assistant) and ensuring their ongoing development
Managing risk, liaising with auditors and ensuring the business is compliant with relevant legislation.

What Qualifications and Experience do you need?

Degree qualified
CIMA OR ACCA Qualified ideally
Exceptional experience with month end financial reporting
Commercially minded
Solid understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards
Experience with SOX and ICoFR internal control framework would be beneficial
Audit experience would be viewed positively.
Working with Oracle or similar ERP.
Analytical experience dealing with large data sets, manipulation and complex reporting.
Enjoys managing a team
Strong report writing and presentation skills
