Description
- Act as a key business partner for all UK directorates, providing financial insight and advice.
- Lead the implementation of financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI, to improve accessibility, and functionality.
- Oversee audit processes, ensuring compliance with UK laws and donor requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to drive systems improvements and integration.
- Train and mentor business partners and non-financial colleagues to improve financial literacy.
- Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to align strategic objectives with operational goals.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors.
- Provide leadership to the team, fostering a culture of proactivity, collaboration, and accountability.
Profile
The successful Head of Business Partnering will:
- Be a qualified accountant (CCAB - ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Have experience in business partnering, financial systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Bring experience in audits, compliance, and working with complex, multi-entity organisations.
- Have NGO or not-for-profit sector experience (desirable but not essential).
Longevity in previous roles and a strategic mindset will be key to success in this role.
