The Role:
Working for a regional Plant and Accommodation hire company, we need an experience HGV Class 1 Driver based in Rugby, Warwickshire area, to deliver and collect construction plant and accommodation / storage units on building sites. You must have previous experience delivering a range of Plant / Construction Equipment / Accommodation units, ideally with Hiab experience. This is a permanent full time position, working 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday plus overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
As a HGV Class 1 Delivery Driver - Plant and Accommodation Units, Your Job Role Would Include:
- Deliver and Collect Equipment around the Midlands area
- Load and Unload, Safely Secure Plant Equipment for Transportation
- Daily Vehicle Checks
- Undertake Administrative Tasks including Completing Delivery / Collection Tickets Accurately
- Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when Delivering on Customer Sites
- Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards
Skills & Requirements:
The Ideal Candidate for the HGV Class 1 Delivery Driver - HGV Class 1 Driver - Plant and Accommodation Role Will Have:
- Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Delivery Driver; HGV 1 Delivery Driver
- You Will Have Previous Experience within the Plant and Accommodation Hire Industry
- Full Clean Driving Licence – Class 1
- Hiab Experience / Licence
- CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good Knowledge of the Local Road Network
- Good Communication Skills
